Scope of Work
CSB worked with BHDP Architecture to develop a fun and colorful environment by incorporating patterns and vibrant colors. The goal was to coordinate a continuous look that wraps around the walls of corridors using a random horizontal pattern. CSB’s solution was to digitally printed wallpaper that the CSB installers were able to tile seamlessly. The walls of the lobby are covered with the Fidelity logo and color standards. CSB chose to use digitally printed wallpaper for the orange walls and frosted vinyl for the window logos. At first glance, it is difficult to tell that wallpaper is being used because the logos and background color appear to be painted.
Care was taken to strategically tile the graphics in an effort to create a seamless look. Interior ADA signs, wayfinding, and document holder signs were fabricated from several layers of a reverse engravable style of plastic. The signs are mechanically fastened to the wall using a screw that is concealed under a thin layer of plastic. Images of people participating in activities were created using digitally printed banners. The banners serve as a privacy screen and to encourage gym participants. CSB also created thick frosted acrylic panels with tactile icons at the entrance of the gym. The signs display stylized “peeps” engaged in athletic activities and were installed so they appear to be floating off the wall by using concealed mounting hardware.
